Copywriter Skypes into Intro Ad Class

Kelly Markey, a copywriter at ND&P, Richmond, VA, again visited students into Dr. Reichert's ADPR 3100 Introduction to Advertising course. Similar to Kelly’s visit in the Fall, she connected to the classes via a Skype video call while sitting in her office. Kelly talked about her career trajectory as a copywriter, her first internship, and a typical day at work. Students were curious about how she developed her book and her recent Addy awards. Kelly recently won a Gold and two Silver Addys. Kelly’s brother, Kurt Thomson, was a student in last semester’s course.
