Grady students named Crane Scholars

Congratulations to the two Grady students who were named Crane Scholars this year by the UGA’s Honors Program: Jim Thompson, a public relations major, and Taryn Winston, a journalism major with a Public Affairs emphasis.

In order to be considered, applicants must be enrolled in the Honors Program with a minimum GPA of 3.7 and have demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities or with civic, community or religious organizations.The program awards scholarships of $1,000 and is renewable in a recipient's fourth year. The next application cycle will open in late spring.
