Grady College Board of Trust Welcomes Four New Members

The Grady College Board of Trust, the college advisory board comprised of alumni and industry professionals, welcomes four new members who are leaders in the advertising and public relations fields.

Andrew McLean
Andrew McLean is currently the Managing Partner of Inventus Media Partners, a media management agency. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Executive Officer at PHD Media, and has worked in leadership positions at GroupM, Buena Vista International, Young&Rubicam, and MEC. McLean was instrumental in helping set up the PHD Media-Grady Partnership last year.


Suzy Deering
Suzy Deering
Suzy Deering is the President of Moxie, an interactive communications agency. Before that position, she was the vice president of integrated media at The Home Depot, and has held leadership positions at Verizon Wireless, Verizon Communications Incorporated and Fitzgerald+. Deering was chosen as a “40 under 40” industry leader by AdvertisingAge.


Ron Huey
Ron Huey
Ron Huey is the Executive Creative Director at CSE, a sports and entertainment agency, where he manages a team of branding experts. Prior to his position at CSE, he founded Huey+Partners, which joined CSE, and co-founded Huey/Paprocki. Last year, Huey was one of the Atlanta professionals in the "Bulldog Creative" who spearheaded a new UGA PSA that featured R.E.M.'s "Oh My Heart" and iconic parts of UGA's campus.


Jackie Herr
Jackie Herr
Jackie Herr co-founded and served as the CEO of Ignite Health, a top healthcare communications agency. During her time in healthcare marketing and communications, Herr has worked on several major pharmaceutical clients and products, including Lilly, Bristol-Myers and Gilead. She is a founding member of the Prosperitas Group at the University of California-Irvine's Paul Merage School of Business.

Grady welcomes Chris Hall, CEO of BBDO Atlanta, to Board of Trust

The Department of Advertising & Public Relations and the Grady College are pleased to welcome Chris Hall, CEO of BBDO Atlanta, to the Grady Board of Trust. The board serves as an advisory arm for Grady College.

Hall brings his expertise in advertising to the board as he joins other notables in the journalism and mass communication industries.

Chris Hall has worked in the advertising industry for over 20 years. Before being called to head BBDO Atlanta, Hall worked at J. Walter Thompson as Management Director and Director of Business Development. Hall has spoken at several universities in addition to UGA. He has spoken to our very own UGA Ad Club and talked with Grady students at the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival this past summer.
