Grady Gala

Last night, Grady hosted a gala to launch the new Centennial Campaign. Over 400 people attended as sixty-four individuals, mostly Grady Grads, were inducted into the Charter class of Grady Fellows. The Fellows are people who have dedicated their time, energies and/or financial support to the Grady College and the University of Georgia for many years. What a stellar group they are too.
Deborah Norville of CBS Inside Edition and Deborah Roberts of ABC News presented the Fellows. Dean Cully Clark provided personal commentary on each of the recipients and Tim Mapes served as his assistant. Several ADPR alums were honored including Maxine Clark, Founder and CEO of Build-a-Bear. Ron Lane, looking very dapper, was around to congratulate her.
Former Dean, Tom Russell, was also inducted as a Fellow. He was joined by his wife Judy and his co-authors Ron Lane and Karen King at the event.
Several Grady faculty including Jay Hamilton and Spencer Tinkham were on hand to congratulate the Fellows. Other ADPR faculty who attended included Tom Reichert, Lynne Sallot, Kristen Smith, Jennifer Griffith, Bryan Reber and Dean Krugman.
