Congratulations to Dr. Leonard Reid, professor of advertising in Grady College. A piece written by Dr. Reid along with two Grady grads, Denise DeLorme (Ph.D. ’95, MA ’91) and Jisu Huh (Ph.D. ’03, MA ’00), and Soontae An (Kansas State) was chosen as an Outstanding Paper Award Winner at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2011. Published in the International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing, the paper entitled “The state of public research on over-the-counter drug advertising” discussed the importance of revisiting the content, processes and effects of OTC drug advertising.
