Creative Consultants, UGA’s student-run public relations firm, wins national PRSA award

Congratulations to UGA’s Creative Consultants for winning second place in the PRServing America award for the public relations campaign for one of their clients, Books for Keeps.
The winning team includes includes Whitney Jinks, Jessica Neville, Alicia Adlerz, Savannah Kirk and Lauren Steffes. They created a campaign focused on increasing awareness of Books for Keeps in the Athens community and improving the organization’s online presence.
The Books for Keeps Team
Books for Keeps is a local nonprofit that provides books to children who would otherwise do without over the summer. The program provides each student in participating schools with 12 books for the three months they are out of school.
The PRServing America award seeks to award campaigns which show the intersection of public relations and public good. Creative Consultants’ awareness campaign strengthened not only community awareness but community involvement in Books for Keeps’ mission to provide literature for local schools.
