Madison Ave Creative Director Visits Grady

Sponsored by the Advertising Education Foundation, Grey Advertising creative director Mark Fina visited Grady College March 29 and 30 to speak about his work in the beauty and fashion side of advertising. Tuesday, he spoke to AD Club on the topic, “Advertising in the Beauty and Fashion Industry-Cover Girl Case Study”. Wednesday, Fina showcased his work to Grady students and faculty during a reception in the Drewry room.

As head of EricssonFina and the beauty and fashion guru of Grey Advertising, He has experience working with top brands like Hugo Boss, Fendi, Revlon, Almay and L’OrĂ©al. For several years now, Fina has worked closely with the COVERGIRL brand in its advertising and in launching new products. In his talks, Fina addressed the importance of using celebrity talent that matches the brand’s image. He also discussed his part in COVERGIRL’s move to using celebrities like Queen Latifah and Ellen DeGeneres in its advertising because they are relatable to COVERGIRL’s target audience.
